Born in Serres on July 28, 1955 . He received his diploma in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering ( Electrical courses ) in 1980 from the Department of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Since 19/09/1980 he is with the School of Electrical Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, originally as a research assistant. In 1997 he was elected Lecturer in the Department.
